“Swaa Gamya” has been registered with the Government of Nepal in Company Registrar’s office on the day of 7th October, 2020 amidst the global pandemic of Covid-19. We subsequently are registered with the Barpak-Sulikot Rural Municipality – a remote municipality that was the epicenter of Gorkha Earthquake 2015.
The company is a social business to reinvest all profit to the service of community.
Beautifully coined two words from two different languages of the region viz. ‘Swaa’ from ethnic Gurung community who dominates the region, and ‘Gamya’ from one of the oldest languages Sanskrit that dominates the philosophy and life of Indian Subcontinent, ‘Swaa Gamya’ is established. Literally ‘Swaa Gamya’ means “Happiness is Achievable o Reachable”.
